The Boban Calendar Wheel is so named because at one time it fonned part of the Eugene Boban Collection.1 As to its· origin, wé know only that it was discovered in Texcoco and sent' to France in 1867. 2 It is presentIy in the John Carter Brown Libra ry, Providence.
